Green Smoothie


Have you jumped on the green smoothie train yet? Super easy, nutritious and makes you feel ready to take on the day! After an unsuccessful run in today’s heat I was craving kale and green goodness.

1 banana
Handful chopped kale
1 cup frozen mangoes
Sprinkle of cayenne pepper, great for digestive health and helps to speed up your metabolism
Sprinkle of turmeric, great anti-inflammatory goodness to sneak in there
Juice of 1 lime

Add all ingredients into a blender and fill about 1/3 of the way with water
Blend until bright green and smooth
*I didn’t today, but adding celery and parsley also offers a great freshness*
