After writing my piece on the Farmer’s Market Surprise Meets Challenge, I was inspired to take my own advice and try something new. I used the same recipe as my blueberry jam, but with a lot less sugar (just a few sprinkles) since there were less ground cherries.
Ground cherries have a unique taste for sure, but not one I am sure about. Sweet, yet slightly bitter, but still intriguing and satisfying. If they are in season near you let me know what you think, if not, what fruit is and how are you jamming?!
