I have been dying to try this fried mushroom calamari and finally tonight was the night! I didn’t have oyster mushrooms but brown clamshell ones worked great. I was inspired by 365 Days of Food ‘s post (who sited One Happy Table’s recipe) and it worked a treat! Being gluten free, I swapped out the panko crumbs for brown rice flour and added granulated garlic powder to the flour mixture. *Also added a squeeze of lemon juice on top after cooking, pre dipping!* A great app for any occasion! So good, I ran out of mushrooms and made another batch with cauliflower afterwards:) Enjoy!
