I have been wanting to make my own tea for a while now and today my mint plant looked at me along with a half eaten orange and voila, it began. This tea will nourish you from when it hits your lips and slides down your throat. The mint and orange compliment each other and work well as a warm tea to chase away that chill that comes in fall and winter, but can also be refreshing served over ice for those spring and summer days. So no matter what hemisphere you are in, you can enjoy this tea!
1 cup of hot water
1 handful of fresh mint leaves
1 teaspoon of orange zest
Brew the hot water and throw in the mint and zest
You can strain away the leaves and zest or sip around it for a more rustic feel.
*If making iced, wait for the water to cool, pour over ice and enjoy!*
Have you ever made your own tea or inspired to now? What are you putting in it?
